Description

Plumeria, aka Franginpani, are in full bloom right now in South Florida.  Just walk around any road in our neighborhood and you'll catch the tropical, flowery aroma of plumeria.  It's the best!  We've grown to love them because of their beautiful, delicate flowers, lovely scent, and ease of growing.  We have collected white, pink, and another with an unbelievable orange hue.  Just stick them in a pot or in the ground and off they go.  Each purchase is for one cutting.  USPS Ground Advantage shipping to the Lower 48 only.

These plumeria cuttings will produce flowers with a lovely deep pink hue.  The smell is amazing!  Each cutting is 9-12 inches long.  The cuttings were pruned and processed on 4/30/24, then stored untrimmed, upside down in a dry, cool spot.  The cuttings are now callused and were trimmed today, 5/5/24.  Each cutting will be shipped to you wrapped in newspaper.  If not planting right away please store your cuttings loosely wrapped in newspaper in a cool, dry location.  When stored in an ideal location they should last for a few months.  When planting, cut the callused end off and place in a pot or in the ground with a quality growing medium.  Plumeria grow like a weed in-ground in USDA Zones 10 and above.  Zone 9 will be pushing it.  Thankfully, you can grow plumeria in any USDA Zone indoors.

From University of Florida/IFAS:

Plumeria grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. They are fairly drought- and salt-tolerant once they are established in the landscape. Plumerias are best suited to tropical climates, USDA Hardiness Zones 10B-11. These plants can be susceptible to cold damage, but thanks to their weed-like vigor, some level of regeneration is often possible if the plant has not been killed to ground. Further north, this tender plant can be grown in containers and brought inside when cold weather strikes.

Shipping and Combined Shipping

NYCfigs ships on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

We never 'pass the savings' of expensive shipping charges to the customer and always ship as economically as possible.  Sometimes this becomes a juggling act between cost-of-goods vs. cost-of-container vs. shipment size vs. shipping cost vs. margins.  With combined shipping, it's all in the packing and we'll always find the most inexpensive shipping method available.  But there are times when it's impossible to ship economically and we'll always let you know before paying.  The shipping for all items sold by NYCfigs will combine automatically with all other items purchased from NYCfigs.  Items that ship free can't be discounted.  In the rare instance of excess shipping charges, NYCfigs will refund after the invoice is paid.  This ensures your items are received in a timely manner.
