Cherry Cordial

Cherry Cordial is a truly unique variety. The texture and flavor are not like any other I grow. Both being quite enjoyable! The fruit can be dense maybe like a gelatin candy and the flavor has a zing to it which inspired the name. This tree is a healthy and vigorous grower. I’ve heard speculation it may be a hybrid of F. carica & F. palmata. I believe this is a common fig, does not require pollination, but it may perform better when pollinated, I’m not certain.

See photos for actual tree. It has been in part sun and is well acclimated. I intend to ship the following Monday morning so long as the invoice is complete by Sunday at noon.

I have a large fig collection and expect all my trees have been exposed to FMV. I am in CA but there are no reports of BFF in my city (Napa) and I have my small trees segregated from fruiting trees just as a precaution should my fortunes change. I’m keeping very close eyes on this pest and I will not take any risky chances regarding its spread.
