Jamal Al Asfar (JAA) - SUPER PREMIUM Fig Variety from the Middle East

Jamal Al Asfar (JAA) also popularly known as Yellow Beauty is an extremely sweet fig cultivar.  It produces uniform medium-sized fruits which are green to greenish-yellow in color. 

The pulp is dark red and is very sweet with a slight berry flavor.   They do well if allowed to dry on the tree and preserve their intense sweetness. It is a common type of fig and thus, does not need wasps to pollinate. 

It is considered a must-have variety for Avid fig collectors.

For this bid, the Jamal Al Asfar offered is in a 1-gallon container and is 15" tall. It was grown as a rooted cutting. The plant shows no signs of FMV, but it is possible that it has been exposed to it as no pathogenic tests have been conducted on the variety. 

Origin: MIDDLE EAST

Once received, the plant should be kept in a morning sun-only location for 2 weeks and then brought out into brighter light for another week. After that, full sun is best.

You are bidding for the plant as shown in the pictures.  The plant will be professionally packed and shipped UPS in an 8" x 8" x 24"  box.
