Brunswick (AKA Magnolia): Brunswick fig, also known by the name Magnolia, is a "common" fig variety - not requiring pollination. It produces medium to large-size fruit that is dark brown in exterior color and with red/amber-colored pulp, with delicious brown-sugar taste. It is the most popular canning fig grown in the south.
My Brunswick fig originated as a TC plant acquired about five years ago from an online fruit nursery - Wellspring Gardens.
My Brunswick fig tree, a 7 ft tall mature, fruiting tree, presently shows no sign of any FMV.
Cuttings: Cuttings will be taken fresh upon order from a mature, fruiting tree. The cuttings are expected to be from fully lignified wood, about 3/8"-1/2" thick, about 6 - 9" in length, and with a minimum of three nodes. I will wrap the cuttings tightly in cling film and ship them by USPS first class mail within a day or so after payment.
The attached photo of the fig tree is the actual tree from where the cuttings will be taken.
Shipping: (Just learned today that USPS raised postage for 1st class mail a few days ago). Shipping for an order of two cuttings is $6.00, by USPS first class mail (with tracking) to addresses in the Continental US only; No international shipping. No shipping to PR or AK. $2.50 for each additional order of two cuttings when shipped together. (For multiple cuttings orders please wait for me to adjust the invoice amount for shipping discount before paying)
Important: If the buyer is not satisfied with the quality of the cuttings received please send me a photo taken of the cuttings the day they were received. A refund demanded for any reason will exclude shipping charges.
