Kadota Fig: "An easy to grow fig tree and one of the best for dried figs, Kadota produces beautiful yellow/green skinned figs with an amber flesh". Very sweet taste if it has hot weather for ripening. Self-fruitful "common" fig not requiring pollination.
My Kadota fig originated several years ago as a TC plant acquired from an on-line nursery.
Cuttings; As the weather gets colder my fig trees are dropping their leaves and going dormant, I have started pruning them. These cuttings were taken a few days ago from mature, fruiting trees. These are all from fully lignified wood, about 3/8 - 5/8" thick, and 6 - 9" in length, and with a minimum of three nodes. The cuttings are tightly wrapped in cling film and kept refrigerated. They will be shipped by USPS first class mail within a day or two after payment.
The attached photos are of my actual Kadota fig tree and its fruit, on a 7' tall mature fruiting tree growing in a 15-gal grow bag.
My healthy Kadota fig tree shows no sign of any FMV.
Shipping: Shipping for an order of two cuttings is $6.00, by USPS first class mail (with tracking) to addresses in the Continental US only; No international shipping. No shipping to PR or AK. $2.50 for each additional order of two cuttings when shipped together. (For multiple cuttings orders please wait for me to adjust the invoice amount for shipping discount before paying)
Important: If the buyer is not satisfied with the quality of the cuttings received please send me a photo taken of the cuttings the day they were received. A refund demanded for any reason will exclude shipping charges.
