-- The Syrian Shatwi is one that I personally brought over from my family's village in Syria. "Shtawi comes from the word Shitaa’ in Arabic which means winter. It ripens very late, usually in November into Christmas." This tree grow extremely fast, is very productive, and does the best in a long hot summer climate.
-- 'Lattarulla bears good crops of large, greenish yellow fruit with sweet, light amber flesh. Lattarulla can bear two crops in one season, one ripening in late July and the second in mid-September.
