Six (6) Prefilled Fig Pop Bags with Pro-mix BX + Biofungicide and Mycorrhizae with Added Perlite.

These bags were prepared for the popular fig cutting growing method that has been nicknamed the “Figpop” or “Fig Pop” method.

These bags were packaged with fig and other fruit tree growers in mind who don’t have the time or space to store large amounts of soil and supplies, or for those that just want to plant their cuttings without the messy hassle of preparing Figpop bags themselves. 

These 2mil 4”x16” poly bags are filled approximately halfway to leave room for cuttings. They are filled with Pro-Mix BX which is comprised of Sphagnum Peat Moss, Perlite, Limestone, Mycorrhizae, Vermiculite and a Wetting Agent.  This soil was designed to prevent fungus gnats, and harmful fungus/rot. I add extra perlite for additional airflow to roots, and have dampened the medium.  All that is left for you to do is add your cuttings !

These are made to order….It goes without saying that rooting of your cuttings is not guaranteed, and is dependent on your growing environment, and quality of cuttings.  I have dampened the medium but if you feel inclined to add more water you may do so. I have found that wetter doesn’t equal better so add water sparingly if desired.
