60 days to maturity.  F-1 hybrid.  Indeterminate.  Since a full medley of colors is so important now in market displays, we think there is a niche for a true bright yellow cherry.  Esterina is large for a cherry, productive over a long period, disease resistant, crack-free, and borne in large clusters.  Not overly sweet.  It's a clean, juicy sweetness that may bring you back for more.  Ships well and may have commercial potential.

We love yellow tomatoes and this variety was recommended to us by a South Florida grower who is having great success with true yellow cherries.  Since we already know this variety does great in the northeast, anyone on the east coast would benefit from Esterina.  We've seen it!  The bushes are just full and dripping with delicious yellow cherries.  At only 60 days to maturity, we can't wait to grow this one.  We're warning you now; the seeds are extremely tiny!  We're away from the co-op this season so this may be the only batch of seeds we get for this variety.
