Description
2 fresh cuttings of MBVS Marseilles Black fig, 6" or longer, will be cut right before shipping.
The tree is growing in ground in California, very vigorous and productive. Originally obtained from VS.
It is the best of the Mt Etna type, everyone's favorite.
Strawberry flavor, very juicy and medium sized. The skin is soft with cracks.
Can be grown in containers or ground, not a picky tree and easy on maintenance. A compact grower and can be kept small with a proper pruning.
The photos are of the actual this year fruit from the mother tree.
Rooting of the cuttings is fairly easy, please search online for suggestions and visit the popular fig forums.
Note: The cuttings will be mailed in a plastic bag in an envelope dry. I will not wrap them in any moist media since this will damage the cuttings in case of a delivery delay.
