The Fig Hunter - TFH-0455- Amens Citron

TFH-0455-Amens Citron is a huge fig.

This delicious fig Amen's Citron is very juicy, with an interior that can be scooped out and used immediately as jam.  It has a fruity sweetness, with citrus notes that become more forward as you get closer to the eye of the fig.  It bears a thin skin that melts away as you bite in to the fruit, and a surprisingly light seed crunch.  You will find beautiful color variations on this fig, with greens, to grayish purple, striping, and sugar cracking.  

All cuttings are 6 inches or longer, with 3 or more nodes.  All cuttings will be freshly sealed with moisture control packets at time of shipping. This was a 2019 find, but not released until 2021. For the sake of transparency, we cannot yet confirm if it is common. Cuttings have been sent out of the area for growing and confirmation

My name is David Burke aka The Fig Hunter. I live in Northern California in Red Bluff, at the very north end of the Sacramento Valley. Though I was born, raised, and lived until few years ago in the city of Napa in The Napa Valley.
