Black Celeste, own roots, 4x9 tree pot

Black Celeste is a small and rich flavored fig. It holds up well in rain and humidity and was reportedly discovered growing in Louisiana. It has some similarities with Celeste and the fig exterior is very dark purple, much darker than Celeste and has deep red flesh. 

This auction is for a well rooted cutting that is ready to transplant into 3 or 7 gallon pot and was started on 12/23/2022. It has been growing in our heated greenhouse with LED lighting whose doors and windows have been opened the past few weeks so it can acclimate to warmer humid weather.  It should be acclimated gradually to full sun upon arrival.
