TFH-0099-Liberty Red a seedling found in a remote area on the side of a frontage road. It is likely a seedling of another fig tree sitting just north at the edge of another fruit and nut orchard. The bush-like canopy is roughly 25 feet wide.
This is an average size fig, with yellow to green skin and red ribs. It bears a juicy red interior with light seed crunch. The flavor of this fig is sweet also reminiscent of a just underripe blueberry, in that it has blueberry undertones but still has that bit of tartness. Simmers down to a beautiful jam.
Because one person handles all orders for four sites, please allow 7-10 BUSINESS days for shipping. Thank you for your understanding.
With purchase you will receive a cutting with three nodes or more and 6” or longer. We have sent cuttings out of California to be grown to confirm if common
