Chang Mai 60 Mulberry Tree

Chang Mai 60 is a wonderful dwarf mulberry variety that is precocious and productive, with great balanced flavor.

Fruits tend to be large for a mulberry at 1.25-2 inch berries, with a crisper, slightly firm, and delicious taste. I like them when they are slightly sour, and tangy before fully ripe.

Tree grows well in containers, and can easily be kept at desired size.

I planted one in ground last fall here in zone 8, and it did not come back with our winter low of 14 degrees. I will try again, but give it more time to establish roots before winter. The one I kept in a 10 gallon pot, up against south side of house, and covered during freezes did make it, and produced lots of berries on such a small 4 feet tree.

I have many varieties of mulberry trees, dwarf and otherwise, and I can say this tree is a keeper.  Tree is growing in 3x8 tree pot.  I may have to trim or bend to fit shipping box. I will do my best to leave tree intact.
