Col de Dame Ciutat fig tree own roots

Up for auction fig tree own roots variety Col de Dame Ciutat. This is a phenomenal variety and has easily earned a spot in my top ten. I sourced these from kremp and evdurtschi. We fruited both and they were identical. This variety grafts well and appears to be somewhat cold hardy as the grafts we succeeded are still with us. Living in the south usually winter seasons are a walk in the park compared to up north. But the past few winters we have had some colder temps for longer periods which has been good for testing hardiness of certain varieties. This one passed our rigorous months. The fruit is tasty and sweet and very much enjoyable to the pallet. The tree you see In the photos is the one up for auction. It is well rooted and acclimated to the sun.
