This auction is for a rooted cutting from my Colonel Littman’s Black Cross fig tree. My tree was acquired from a reputable nursery in PA. My tree is two years old. I have confirmed fruit.

Colonel Littman's Black Cross is an exceptional fig. The taste of this fig is moderately sweet with a very berry complex taste. The ripening period is on the late side. The only way I managed to get figs to ripen was by being very disciplined with waking up the tree earlier than the other varieties, placing it in a really sunny spot, and making sure to pinch on late May. All of this was worth the effort, I managed to get a few figs to ripen under decent conditions. The tree has an average to low growth vigor.  In general, I would only recommend this variety to those with a long growth season. The figs are really worth it if you do want to taste a top-notch complex berry variety.

You will receive the tree in the images. Please acclimate your tree upon arrival. Place it in a partly shaded area, and wait a few days before changing to a larger pot. Do not disturb the root system as you can damage/hurt the tree, just plant it and let the tree do its thing.
