RED LEBANESE (BV)

Up for auction is a Red Lebanese Bekaa Valley fig tree in a 1-gallon pot. It is currently 16” tall. 

Red Lebanese (BV) is a Mt Etna type fig hailing from Lebanon. It produces small to medium sized figs with a deep purple exterior & a red berry interior. Red Lebanese (BV) is a cold hardy fig that has good resistance to splitting.  It ripens early to mid-September in our climate in 7a RI. This is a common fig not requiring pollination.

All my varieties have come from reputable sources from the fig community.  I guarantee all of my trees to be true to type.  If you want to know my source, please contact me.

I assume that all my trees may have been exposed to FMV at some point, if this is a concern please do not bid.

I usually ship on Mondays or Tuesdays but if you prefer a different day, please let me know as soon as possible after the auction has ended. Local pickup is available.  

After delivery buyer is responsible for care of fig tree.  All trees have been grown indoors with indirect sunlight & grow lights, please introduce your tree to full sun gradually. Please give time for tree to acclimate to its new surroundings.
