Mount Pleasant Unknown - rooted air layer

The variety for this listing is Mount Pleasant Unkown. I named this fig. It is one that I grew as a child in Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania before I knew to keep track of varietal names. It was neglected and never covered in our winters. For 25 years it came up from the ground and a few years ago, I dug it up and brought it to my current property. It produces a small to medium sized brownish purple fig on outside and red berry type interior. It is a great variety for me and is well worth growing simply for the fruit production. 

This air layer is strong and is roughly 1.5 ft  tall.
