Listing Overview: This listing is for one large Ciliegia Dolce fig tree that was started from cuttings in January 2021, taken from the mother tree purchased from Nancy @ Figs & Tropicals, a well respected AZ based seller on FigBid. This now large sized tree up for auction has grown rapidly in its 7 gallon pot and is currently ~3ft. tall including the pot. It is loaded with figs getting ripe, as seen in the photos. Selling as I am downsizing my collection and cannot keep duplicates, I have another rooted tree in a pot as well. Your fig tree will arrive with an aluminum tree tag that is sure to last for many years. You should water the tree well upon receipt and gradually transition it back into full sun to reduce transition stress.
Variety Overview: Ciliegia Dolce is one of the very best Mt. Etna type figs and was originally found growing in ground in CT. It's know for having a slight cherry berry flavor, while still being highly productive as Mt. Etna's are known to be. A winner for sure in the Northeast.
Shipping & Payment: Your tree will be shipped to the Continental U.S. ONLY (i.e. Lower 48 U.S. States, excluding AK and HI) with the additional excluded states of CA, OR and WA due to the extra cost of shipping across the country. Bids from excluded U.S. States and from other countries will unfortunately not be accepted. Buyer accepts all shipment risks, including the tree being delayed or held for inspection or quarantine. I am a hobbyist and not a licensed nursery, please know that before bidding. Trees will ship either via UPS Ground or USPS. Buyer is responsible for payment via PayPal or Stripe within 24 hours of auction close.
Additional Information: I do my best to present accurate information about every item that I sell. If you have any questions or concerns, please email me before placing your bid. I assume that all of my fig trees may have been exposed to Fig Mosaic Virus (FMV) and view it as a complete non-issue. All fig trees are alive and healthy when they are shipped.
I'm also Hardyfigs on the OurFigs.com forum. Please contact me through Figbid messaging with feedback or questions at any time. Thank you and happy bidding!
