A MUST HAVE for ALL Fig Collectors (like myself) that are in search of RARE and interesting figs from all of the world. I guarantee at least 4 nodes and will be cut same day as shipping. Will be FRESH and ready to be rooted!
This very rare tree was gifted to me as a cutting years ago from a local liquor store owner that brought this delicious fig with him as cuttings when he and his family came to the USA from Jerusalem. He talked about eating from these wild fig trees while on wild boar hunting trips on the Jordan River banks. This is a very tasty medium sized yellow fig that falls under the Honey taste profile. I can confirm that it is common (doesn’t need a wasp)!
I highly recommend this fig for southern state collectors. My mother tree is a very vigorous grower and producer, withstanding our extreme heat, humidity, and excessive rainfall. Fruits are very resistant to splitting, having a fairly tight closed eye. The inground mother tree survived our historic winter storm in 2017 when temps dropped below freezing for several days straight with very little protection. Very resilient tree! Fruit ripens Mid-Late season for me. A personal favorite in my collection of over 120 fig trees!
