THIS IS A SUPER TOP TIER VARIETY.ESPECIALLY FROM THE SOURCE.I RECEIVED IT FROM.RIGHT FROM THE SOURCE.This is an AUTHENTIC BECNEL FAMILY/ROY YOUNG SMITH.I was extremely lucky enough to acquire my Authentic BECNEL SMITH fig tree from a Louisiana native.He goes back a ways enough have known and been a friend of Roy Young and the BECNEL NURSERY FAMILY.I was told by my fig Bud ROY YOUNG was a terrific orchard man.According to my southern friend’s.Three seasons ago my southern fig bud in Louisiana.He was telling me one of the late Roy Young’s children called him 3 years ago.Telling my friend 10 of his prized fig trees got wiped out in a hurricane his original Smith amongst them.Which was his original Smith from his dad.They get many a hurricanes off the Gulf.He needed his original Smith replaced.Which was done immediately by the terrific man who I obtained my Smith from.My SMITH is a decedent to the original SMITH TREE.It can’t get more close to the source than this.In twenty years of growing and collecting figs.This is my first Smith plant.I obtained about 7-8 years ago.It was worth waiting for.Its an easy rooter grows fast and sets lots of awesome figs.That leak sweet syrup sealing it’s eye.ITS ALSO AN EARLY PRODUCER.It never stops producing all summer long.Either it ripens all figs.Or it continues to ripen until the winter stops it.I just got lucky meeting these folks though fig buying and then swapping.I now know why their is so much hype over this variety.Getting it directly from the source makes it that much more exciting.Its a very extremely hardy variety.YOUR CUTTINGS ARE SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS.YOUR CUTTINGS WILL BE CUT FRESH UPON PAYMENT.I WILL INSERT A SLIGHTLY DAMP PAPER TOWEL.INTO THE PLASTIC ZIP LOCK FREEZER BAG.UNLESS IM MESSAGED NOT TO DO SO.YOUR CUTTINGS WILL SHIP PRIORITY MAIL.
