This is a listing for 2 cuttings from my De Capocorp d'en Munar Fig tree. I acquired this tree from a well-respected nursery in PA. The cuttings you will be receiving are equivalent to those in the images. I have been able to confirm fruit from this tree. The cuttings you will be receiving are equivalent to those in the images. I guarantee at least 3 nodes per cutting. These cuttings have been freshly harvested.
I acquired De Capocorp d'en Munar based on MP's description of the tree and fig. MP mentions on his book that the fig is sweet with an acidic tone. This was a taste profile I was missing in my collection. As described by MP, the figs are sweet, and they do have an acidic tone. I also noticed some tones of peach or fruity notes on the ripest figs. The figs are split resistance and do well even under heavy rain. The ripening period is on the late side, but I have managed to get figs by waking up the tree early and leveraging pinching at the beginning of June. The tree grows vigorously and produces a lot of fruit. The foliage and canopy are very ornamental. Overall, I would recommend this variety to any collector looking for a different flavor profile aside from the most traditional or well-known varieties. The Peach notes are very interesting and something not usually seen on most varieties.

I am a long-time seller at FigBid with multiple years of experience growing figs. I only sell varieties that I have fruited and confirmed. I can trace all my mother trees to top growers and nurseries in the US. Cuttings are collected for each variety at a time, and immediately cleaned and labelled. You can trust that you will be receiving the right variety. Please buy only from trusted sellers and avoid being sold low quality cuttings of unknown origin, the effort it takes to grow the plant and the years of investment do have a value.
