The Sycamore fig (ficus Sycomorus) is a cousin of the common fig (ficus carica). Ficus Sycamorus produces good quality edible fruit. This particular variety of sycamore fig is called "Shikma Balami", and is self pollinating without the need of fig wasp pollination.  My tree has not fruited yet, but this is said to produce sweet, tasty, seedless figs.  Also, I've read that Sycamore fig trees are resistant to nematodes and compatible for grafting with ficus carica. So, this may be a good variety to use for rootstock in areas with root knot nematodes.  This fig variety doesn't tolerate freezes, and is only hardy to zone 9 or higher if being planted in the ground, though can likely be grown in colder locations if brought inside for the winter.  I bought my tree from TreesofJoy in May of 2021. My tree has not fruited yet, so I posted a picture from Wikipedia to show what the fruit looks like. Sycamore figs trees were grown by the ancient Egyptians, and were the ancient Egyptian Tree of Life.  This listing is for 4-cuttings.  This fig variety is a little more difficult to root than ficus carica, but I had great results using a soil mix of roughly 75% pumice and 25% Pro-mix. I suspect that using extra perlite would probably work as well.  Copper label included
