Irene's Black Greek was an outstanding fig for me in 2023 and I consider it tied for my best tasting fig in my collection, right next to Belvedere.  The figs are medium is size (30-40g) and contain dense pulp that is both sweet and complex.  This variety is highly productive albeit a bit slow growing.  The figs in my photos are uncaprified and were taken from 1st year trees. Fruit quality is expected to increase as the years go on.  The original source of my tree is Dan Foster.

This variety has proven to be common.  Results will vary depending on growing location.  This rooted cutting is on its own roots and has been growing under high intensity full spectrum grow lights.  I recommend slowly acclimating them to sunlight once received.

I am capable of shipping to the lower 48 states.  No international shipping and no shipping to Hawaii or Alaska. All photos are my own.  I am Evan on the Ourfigs forum. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Please bid with confidence as we guarantee our varieties to be true to type. If there is ever a discrepancy, we will make it right. I assume all of our trees have been exposed to FMV.  If you are concerned with FMV, please refrain from bidding.
