TFH-335-Lathrop

This fig may be known by other names to other fig enthusiasts who know it’s location already. We are not sure of it’s given name, but are calling it the Lathrop fig, simply because it’s across the highway from the Lathrop city sign. Its a great find, just off the side of I-5. The perfect bite sized fig with a slightly astringent skin, that would be great for preserves. The mother tree is very productive, especially considering its location.
For the sake of transparency, we cannot yet confirm if it is common. Cuttings have been set out of the area for growing and confirmation.
