Ondata - Grafted onto VS

This listing is for a beautiful Ondata, grafted onto Vasilika Sika in at 1/2 gallon pot. Ondata is a gorgeous black fig with white spots on its skin. It was introduced by FdM and my source was Fruitnut. The figs are drop-shaped and grow to a large size. They are known for their beauty as well as their taste. Ondata figs have a thin skin and shades of sweet red pulp. Ondata trees are productive and grow mostly 5-lobed leaves. Ondata is a common variety, not requiring wasp pollination. The figs have good attachment, with the ability to dry on the tree. I obtained by tree late in the season last year so I was only able to ripen one fruit before it got cold and it was amazing. I can’t wait to have more this year. I neglected to take a pic of the ripe fruit so the fruit in the photo is of all the fruit that didn’t get a chance ti ripen. Would make an amazing addition to you collection. 

I suspect all my trees may have been exposed to FMV at some point, even the ones that show no signs. If this is a concern please do not bid. 
 

Plant has been growing indoors under lights and acclimation to sun needed. Also if you live in an area with frost please protect from extreme weather. 

I will usually ship on Monday’s to avoid post office delays over the weekend. Please be aware that’s the post office is a lot slower than usual due to Covid 19 and lack of staff. Item will be shipped priority but there have been instances when it has taken longer than a week to arrive, however that’s rare. 

All my cuttings have come from very reputable sources from the fig community and this tree came from Feuitnut but If there is ever a problem with the item please make me aware and I will do my best to make it right.
