Jamaican Yellow Mushroom is a new hot pepper for us.  Originally hailing from the island of Jamaica and named for its mushroom shape.  Very productive!  Known for its unique, fruity, lemon-lime, citrus flavor, this pepper adorns many secret Caribbean recipes including the famous Jamaican Jerk Sauce.  One of the finest peppers for homemade hot sauce, salsa, salads, or to add a refreshing touch of brightness to any dish.  JYM are good for drying and crushing and the faint of heart will even stuff them!  Oh boy... clocking in at 100,000 – 200,000 Scoville Heat Units those will be some very HOT stuffed peppers!  The bright yellow, shiny peppers measure up to 2 inches across.  Productive, bushy plants reach up to 36 inches tall in ground and stay around 18 inches in a pot.  Jamaican Yellow Mushroom produce dozens of peppers per plant!  Great variety for any climate.  85 days to maturity.  Open-pollinated.

Shipping and Combined Shipping

NYCfigs ships on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

We never 'pass the savings' of expensive shipping charges to the customer and always ship as economically as possible.  Sometimes this becomes a juggling act between cost-of-goods vs. cost-of-container vs. shipment size vs. shipping cost vs. margins.  With combined shipping, it's all in the packing and we'll always find the most inexpensive shipping method available.  But there are times when it's impossible to ship economically and we'll always let you know before paying.  The shipping for all items sold by NYCfigs will combine automatically with all other items purchased from NYCfigs.  Items that ship free can't be discounted.  In the rare instance of excess shipping charges, NYCfigs will refund after the invoice is paid.  This ensures your items are received in a timely manner.
