Nerucciolo d' Elba

Ttrees grow primarily 3- and 5-lobed leaves, and less commonly grow spade shaped leaves. They produce many small figs with a pear shape and uniform tapering. Their thin skin is dark purple or black and it covers a red pulp. Nerucciolo D’Elba has a complex berry flavor and medium sweetness. Many fig collectors swear by this tried and true Italian variety.
