Description

Please Note: In this listing you will receive one cutting that is green (possibly branch tip) and one piece that is more lignified wood.

This fig originates from the UC Riverside fig breeding program in CA. I received my cuttings some years back from Mr. Richard Watts.

Very large yellow fig with light/amber colored flesh. Fresh, very sweet, mild flavor. I really like this fig. Not the most bold fig flavor but still quite a pleasure to eat.

If you like, you can follow this link (buy copy & pasting to your browser) to a nice youtube video about this fig. Not my video but still a nice vid to see:

My journey with figs began in late 2009 when I tasted my first fresh fig. It was a greenhouse grown Italian Honey. My eyes were now open! It was sweet, fresh tasting, and so juicy. Nothing like dried figs or fig newtons :-) ! I still like that fig to this day. I had no idea at that time there were hundreds of other varieties of figs waiting to be discovered. Since then, I have enjoyed many other amazing fig varieties.  I have also enjoyed seeing the fig people's community grow tremendously over the past 10 years! What a great fruit to grow in your own backyard and what a great hobby!

You will receive 2 cuttings about 8-9" in length. I often include an extra short piece, when available, at no extra charge. This is at my discretion, is included as an occasional "bonus" piece, and not included with every variety.

PLEASE NOTE;  Combined Shipping:  If you win more than one auction, please contact me before you pay so that I may make the adjustment on your invoice for combined shipping. Combined shipping varies depending on quantity and size of cuttings. Priority mail will remain $8 up to the max number of cuttings that will fit into a Priority Flat Rate padded envelope.

In this auction you have the option to choose between Priority or First Class shipping via USPS.

Sorry, no international shipping.

If there is ever an issue with the plant material I send you, I will always do my genuine best to make it right.
