About the auction item:
For sale is a well-rooted Cherry Cordial tree in a 1-gal pot. It has been exposed to sunlight from the very beginning as I rooted cuttings in a sunroom without any cover. It can tolerate a wide range of temperature (45-75 degrees) and humidity (35-80%), which means an easier transition once this tree is introduced to a new environment.
Cherry Cordial is an interesting fig because it mostly has the single-spade leaves, which indicating it is genetically different from most other common figs. Some growers have commented that this fig has a tangy flavor, which I agree because I also tasted a bit spiciness. I also agree with some growers that Cherry Cordial loves water. This fig is vigorous and cold hardy. I grow it in ground.
