Ronde de Bordeaux – Well-Rooted in Tree Pot

You are buying a well-rooted cutting of Ronde de Bordeaux that is growing vigorously in a 9" x 4" tree pot. This was started in December. 

Ronde de Bordeaux is a common type of fig and does not need pollination by wasps.

Ronde de Bordeaux is an excellent fig variety for cooler climates and one of the very earliest main crop figs you can grow. It can also die back to the ground and still produce fruit the same year. I find that in Zone 6B it has good cold resistance. 

Ronde de Bordeaux is a popular variety from the Bordeaux region in France. These figs are medium-sized and have a distinct round shape, along with long finger-like leaves which sets them apart. The skin of Ronde de Bordeaux figs is thin, smooth, and dark purple to black in color when ripe, while the flesh inside is rich, sweet, and tender.
