Aunan - Grafted onto Albanian UNK- New cultivar from Thierry- France

This listing is for a healthy and fast growing Aunan Grafted onto a vigorous Albanian UNK and currently growing in a 1 gallon pot. This cultivar has been introduced by Thierry In France and it’s very rare in the USA.  Aunan is a recent find  in a farmyard in the Gers, France.  This cultivar is extremely productive and ripens fruit from mid-August and mid-September in its native climate. This fig is delicious with it's rich berry interior and thin purple skin that simply melts in the mouth.  The cracking skin makes it evident when the fig is ready to be enjoyed. This is an extremely vigorous cultivar that has fruit at every node. I obtained my tree late in the year and was not able to ripen any fruit in time but fruit and leaf matches Thierry’s so it’s  true to type or 100% money back. Mother tree is pushing out many fruit at the moment which I can’t wait to ripen.  For more references and info look up past listings on figbid. I suspect all my trees may have been exposed to FMV at some point, even the ones that show no signs. If this is a concern please do not bid. Please check local weather to make sure it’s not below freezing during the bay before you purchase. 
 

Plant has been growing in my patio under shade cloth so acclimation to sun needed. Also if you live in an area with frost please protect from extreme weather. 

I will usually ship on Monday’s to avoid post office delays over the weekend. Please be aware that’s the post office is a bit slower than usual. Item will be shipped priority but there have been instances when it has taken longer than a week to arrive, however that’s rare. 

All my trees have come from very reputable sources from the fig community and if there is ever a problem with the item please make me aware and I will do my best to make it right.
