Brooklyn White – Well-Rooted in Tree Pot

You are bidding on a well-rooted cutting of Brooklyn White that is growing vigorously in a 9" x 4" tree pot. This was started in December. 

Brooklyn White is a common type of fig and does not need pollination by wasps.

Brooklyn White is an excellent fig variety for cooler climates and ripens a main crop in the ground in late summer/early fall in Zone 6B. Brooklyn White is a cold hardy variety famous from Italian immigrants growing it in Brooklyn and Long Island for many decades. It can die back to the ground and still produce fruit the same year.

Brooklyn White is an Atreano type fig with excellent cold resistance. In my 6B location, it performs very well and is a vigorous grower. The figs are very large (80–110 grams) with a sweet berry flavor that can have hints of melon or figgy flavors, especially when underripe. Fully ripe fruits are intensely sweet. 

It will be packed securely and shipped with up to $100 insurance included.

I will be using UPS as the delivery service for your order and will send you a tracking number once your package has been shipped.
