KELLY GREEN UNK (AKA DFW KELLY GREEN) 30" TALL

Up for auction is 30” Kelly Green Unk in a 1-gallon pot.  Kelly Green Unk was introduced to the community by RudyPayRaise. This variety produces medium sized figs with a green/yellow exterior & red interior that tastes like sweet berries. This is a common fig not requiring pollination.

The story of the this fig:

“The mother tree is over 30 years old. The owner Kelly, a man from the Syria/Jordan area brought it with him to Texas. He didn't have a name for it because they grow wild around his hometown. People have only recently started naming them after the town they originate from. I have been a lifelong customer of Kelly's so he was happy to share his rooted cuttings with me. The members of Ourfigs suggested similarities to some varieties but have not been able to identify it fully due to different characteristics. They suggested I name it after the owner until it can be identified otherwise. Welcome DFW Kelly Green Unknown.”

I assume that all my trees may have been exposed to FMV at some point, if this is a concern please do not bid.

I usually ship on Mondays or Tuesdays but if you prefer a different day, please let me know as soon as possible after the auction has ended.

Buyers please be aware of your local weather, if you prefer to delay shipping due to weather, please contact me and we can make arrangements. Local pickup is available.

After delivery the buyer is responsible for the care of the fig tree.  All trees have been grown indoors with indirect sunlight & grow lights, please introduce your tree to full sun gradually. Please give time for tree to acclimate to its new surroundings.
