Description

WARNING These are very sharp blades and if care is not used, they will cut you.

Buyer assumes all risk and is cautioned to keep away from children.

This is a 3D Printed Air Layering and Notching Multi-tool that can be used to make the circular cuts and longways cut on fruit trees to prepare a branch for air layering.

- It features a tapered wedge above the round thumb hole to pry off the bark after making cuts.

- The tool features various sizes for different thickness of branches.

*** Turn the tool counterclockwise for branches thinner than 1/2 inch as the blade may completely cut the branch off if turned clockwise as it binds the branch ***

- It can also be used to make the horizontal cuts bellow a fig node to "notch" it and encourage a branch growth.

- It will come with 5 Standard size blades to get you going.  These can be purchased at your local hardware store and on many online sellers like Amazon.

- the blades will come in a temporary cardboard holder and you are cautioned to use care when changing them out as they are very sharp.

About the seller:

Thank you for stopping by to read a bit more about me. I am a retired Disabled Navy veteran.  I served 20 years to our great nation, after service, I found myself searching for hobbies to help me cope with post navy service and occupy so of my free time.  I am an upcoming wood worker and recently got into growing figs and other fruit trees. Both hobbies help my mental health (My “ME TIME”) and help fund each other.

I recently started using my wood shop CNC and laser machines to make metal tags to keep inventory of some fresh cut wood to dry and label it with the wood species and cut date. It was not long after that the light bulb went off and I figured I can make them to label my plants as well.  Up to now, I had been using white vinyl labels and had to keep replacing as the sun made them too brittle and kept braking off.

I now call Northern Alabama home and live here with my wife of 24 years, twin daughters and until recently my son, who Joined the navy in 2021 and followed my footsteps is forging his own path.

Thank you so much for reading about me and supporting my hobbies.
