Moscatel Preto Fig Tree- Well Rooted 1 Gallon

Moscatel Preto is a very unique beautiful large light brownish fig with a berry colored interior on a tree with outstanding vigor. This fig has a lighter plum colored exterior and when opened reveals an amber interior that fades to red in the center. The fruit is medium to large sized for a fig, and is described as having a pronounced figgy taste. This variety is Portuguese in origin. The name is comprised of “Moscatel,” like the muscat grapes used to make wine, and “Preto” meaning black like the fig’s dark outer skin.
