Sicilian Black (Belleclare #39). 2 Nice Cuttings.

Based on its name, this fig apparently originates from Sicily and was once carried by Belleclare Nursery.

Medium size purple-black fig. Berry flavored fig with moderate sweetness. Very good overall flavor.

After tasting a fresh fig for the very first time, I started growing fig trees in 2009 in my own backyard. I've been hooked ever since! I had no idea at the time that there were hundreds of other varieties of figs waiting to be discovered. Since then, I have enjoyed many other amazing fig varieties.  It's also been a real pleasure to see the fig people's community grow the way it has over the past 10 years!
